Construction
Environmental Resources provides regulatory support and oversight throughout the design, construction, and post-construction phase of capital projects and smaller construction activity. During the design phase, ER prepares environmental impacts reviews; performs reviews of stormwater management plans, erosion and sediment control plans, and waste management plans; and supports construction phase permitting. During the construction phase, ER conducts site inspections for compliance with the approved plans and provides support for inevitable field changes. As construction activity comes to an end, ER supports permit closure and transfer of regulated equipment/assets to the University for long-term operation and maintenance.
